I've been battling a pretty nasty cold... mostly just coughing up a ton of phlegm, but I've been fortunate enough to avoid the sinus infections that are more usual for me when I get a cold. I've been worrying about what medicine and supplements to take, and what food to eat, because I'm not normally sick this long. Then yesterday I finally had a lightbulb moment when I realized I need to get way more sleep. Durrr. Not only have I been waking up in the night because of the coughing, but I've also just been super busy and not even getting into bed until really late every night. No more! I'm in bed at 9pm every night until I'm feeling 100%.
I finally felt well enough to head back to the gym today. Both lifting rooms were very eerily quiet, they don't play music and there weren't too many people. I'll definitely have to bring an ipod or something in the future.

I think I can go up another 5-10 lbs next time. But I need to keep taking it slow or I'm going to pull something.

Pecs felt strong, but all the stabilizing muscles felt really wobbly. Up 5 lbs next time.
Finished with a scaled-down WOD from CrossFit Football. Got my heart rate up, but it's tough doing metcon by myself.
